  7. I've heard people say that. But in the end the deadline isn't helping them BE more creative. It's just they need to be scared into getting into that creative mode.

    I used to have a creative director who purposely gave us ridiculous deadlines because he thought it had us produce better work. Which, to me, felt akin to "You slaves work so much faster when I whip you with this lash."
